  • 20 Years Ago 1996 – Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill ran for the second time at #1 in the UK for eight weeks.
  • 1996 – Kim Thayil is arrested in Rockingham, North Carolina for assaulting a fan who took a picture of him.
  • 55 Years Ago 1961 – ‘Temptation’, The Everly Brothers’ hit, reaches #1 on the UK singles chart and last UK #1.
