- Madonna’s directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival yesterday. She said “moments of struggle” early in her career helped her identify with those themes in the movie.
- “Made In Heaven: The Freddie Mercury Collection,” a line of jewelery inspired by the late Queen frontman, has been launched by designer Udi Behr. The pieces include gold and silver pendants and rings, as well as leather cuffs.
- Five years after faulty pyrotechnics at a Great White show caused a Rhode Island club to catch fire, Clear Channel has agreed to a $22 million settlement with survivors and relatives of the victims of the blaze.
