News Ticker: Busta Rhymes, Twisted Sister, Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey

- Yesterday, Busta Rhymes was sentenced to three years of supervised probation and ten days of community service after pleading guilty to two cases of assault. Rhymes was also ordered to pay a $1,250 fine (plus court fees) and to enroll in a drunken-driving program.
- Twisted Sister’s Jay Jay French has rewritten the band’s “I Wanna Rock” as “I Want Barack” in support of Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The track is under the name Jay Jay French and Friends because Twisted Sister is split on the candidates.
- Ne-Yo told MTV News the music he’s working on for his third album will channel the attitude of the Rat Pack. The singer added he recently penned a song for Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming album.
