2Pac’s Outlawz Launch Australian Label, Ready Tour
5 September 2008Tupac Shakur's protégé rap group The Outlawz announced today (September 5) that they have launched a record label in Australia. According to a press release issued by the group, the label is called Outlaw Recordz Australia and will also support local groups. “We plan to use this new company to not only further the Outlawz brand in Australia but to also help develop talent down there, as well as offer Australian's American products they may not have had access to in the past,” explained The Outlawz. The Outlawz will be touring Australia this month. During their tour, the group will record an album which will feature local Australian acts titled America 2 Australia: The Best of the Best. The project will be a double-disc LP and will also include 14 videos shot during the Outlawz' Australian tour.
